Our process
Four steps, one outcome — properly clean surfaces that stay that way.
The reason a quick clean and a fresh coat of paint doesn't work on tobacco residue is that the tar is still sitting on the surface underneath. Until that's dealt with, the staining and the smell will keep coming back. Here's how we handle it.
1. Survey
We start with a proper look at the property — every affected surface, the level of residue, the substrate underneath. Heavy staining in a hallway is a very different job from a single bedroom, and we plan accordingly.
2. Written quote
You get a clear, itemised quote with no obligation. We tell you what's included, how long we'll need on site, and what we recommend leaving until after redecoration.
3. Specialist treatment
We degrease, neutralise and seal. Tar is lifted from ceilings, walls and woodwork; odour-causing compounds are neutralised at source; surfaces are sealed so nothing bleeds back through fresh paint.
4. Finish
We leave every treated surface ready for decoration — or, if you'd prefer, we'll handle the redecoration ourselves and hand the property back finished.
